About a year ago I told the music department at Nineteenth Street Baptist Church that God was birthing several things in my heart. I told them we would be going to the Far East. I told them also that in December of 2015 we would be doing our next big presentation entitled “Journey To Worship“….but I had no idea what that presentation would look like. I just knew that I was dissatisfied with church as usual and that I was going to present something that would lead us to better worship–worship that nourishes.
Then I began to blog. Worthless Worship, Better Worship, & If I See You I’ll Worship were just a few of the thoughts I wrote on sharing my heart about worship. But then it came. I had the idea to use my journey to Korea as the setting for a musical about finding a meaningful connection with Jesus. This has proved to be a life changing pursuit. I have seen Jesus working miracles at everystep of the way. And I can’t wait for you to experience it.
There’s a lot we can learn from each other. But we need to be open to it. I learned a lot about worship from my friends in Korea that added to this production. By meeting me and engaging in dialogue they learned a lot about black people. This destroyed many stereo types that they had absorbed from the movies they had scene. Together we can learn a lot about how to worship our God more effectively and how to love each other better.
Below please find the link for you to purchase your tickets. A lot of prayer has gone into this endeavor and I know it’s going to be a blessing with your support. The vision God has put in my heart is to take this production around the world. But it will happen with the lifting of many hands. Thank you in advance for helping this dream to come true.
